What we do and what we don't do
What we do
- Ask you to enter your sort code, account number, two digits from your security code, selected from the drop down box and one piece of Secure Personal Information when logging onto your accounts.
- Send you emails, ie e-news, with links to features such as online demo’s and information or promotions about our products and services. These links are for your convenience however, if you are uncertain, you can choose to type in our website address directly into the address bar and then save this to your favourites/bookmarks.
- We will notify you of security alerts and additional important information using the online Noticeboard. When the Noticeboard is being used, it will appear as soon as you have logged onto the personal Internet Banking Service.
What we don't do...
- Send urgent or time-sensitive emails or ones that ask you to provide updates or confirm sensitive data like your account number, PIN, and security details
- We will only ever ask you for one piece of Secure Personal Information (SPI) when logging onto Internet Banking, along with your Sort Code, Account Number, and 2 digits of your Security Code (From a drop down box). If you get asked for more than one piece of SPI on the same screen please do not enter your details and contact us immediately.
- Send you an email that tells you to provide personal information because it’s for your own security
- Send you an email containing a link to a log in page.
